Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza is once again being held by the Rwandan justice system: the opponent and rare critic of President Paul Kagame was arrested yesterday. The arrest follows her appearance at the trial of nine other people accused of circulating the book “Comment faire tomber un dictateur quand on est seul, tout petit et sans armes” (“How to bring down a dictator when you’re alone, small and unarmed”). Her lawyers denounce a trial aimed at silencing her and discouraging all political opposition in the country. Detaild by FRANCE 24 correspondent in Kigali, Juliette Montilly.
